My new way of messing with scammers.

Some days my pill fogged brain has way too much time on its hands. Today was one of them days.
Since moving out here I have been receiving a lot of scam calls about money I supposedly own some
#1. Mens wear clothing store in Boston Ma. Somewhere I have never been.
#2. A BP credit card that I have never had.
#3. Lease agreement in SD commiefornia Never lived there.
But anyway, It’s always from a restricted number with a Habeeb type person saying “this is an attempt to collect a debt and this call is being recorded and that I own some crazy amount of money.
They never ask for my given/legal name and always go straight into asking me to verify my DOB and SS#.
99% of the time I give them a big FU, talk about their heritage, or things about their mothers having sex with goats and camels and hang up on them. :tooth: :tooth:


But today I learned a new way to mess with them.
I start by asking them to please hang on a second while to turn on my recorder. Most of them hang up right there on the spot. I then go on to tell them that I am recording this call and anything they say will be used against them and their company in any civil and/or criminal proceedings that be brought by my local sheriff’s Dept or the TN State attorney Generals Office.
If they are still on the line at this time I ask for their full name and employee # with a contact number where they can be reached. I have had 2 callers stay up to this point and the response has been GREAT! The 2 that have stayed on the phone by this point are yelling something I cant understand but it sounds like they have a bunch of loose plem in their throat .

I know. I have no life but now I look forward to the scammer calling. :rock_on: :rock_on:
