National POW / MIA day

    Take a moment today to offer :innocent0001: 1 up for those that never made it home.This issue is as close to my heart as it gets.I was part of an extract team while in the service but never got the call. I believe during the Nam years there was only 1 time they tried.But the Americans had been moved just prior to the rescue attempt. I know that after WW2 some Americans had stayed in Russia and ended up marrying and lived their remaining years as Russians. They were offered the chance to " come home " but stayed.It was so long that Russia had become their home. When I get back to NH next week I'll try to remember to post a poem I wrote - someone remind me .I tried to get financing from some influencial people years ago to go back to Nam and try to find and return just 1 LIVE American but could never get the backing.I sadly believe to this day if that had occured any plane with us on board would of had to come in secretly Could you imagine the uproar if a American pow showed up live after all those years ?God Bless them all, especially any brothers still alive:innocent0001::innocent0001::innocent0001::patriot:
