    Looks like we will be visiting Charlotte sometime in November for my inlaws 40th anniversary. Can any of you guys recommend a restaurant that isnt a chain but wont cost an arm and a leg. Looking for something nicer than say Outback or anything along those lines. Inlaws arent big red meat eaters, but would like someplace that has a variety available. Also has to be kid friendly, so no 3hr meals, doesnt necessarily have to have a kids' menu, but as long as there are dishes the kids can order is fine. Going it will be my inlaws, wife, our 2 kids, myself and my brother in law and his girlfriend.

    Also any of you guys know of a bakery that we could order a small wedding cake for them too would be great. Doesnt need to feed more than say 12-15 people.

    Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks in advance. Oh they live on the very southern side of Charlotte in between Rt 77 and 74 just so you have an idea of the area we are in.
