Need new boots

Dug out my Herman Survivors for the first time since last year because I had to go out and clean sidewalks and driveway this morning. I thought it would be a good idea since it was only -1° outside without the wind chill added in. Well, it looks like I need to search for something new. Put them on and took a few steps and they literally started coming apart. The "material" that fell out of these things was basically dust, almost a powder. Fricken Chinese junk! Never seen a pair of boots do this before. Both boots were like this.
