Needing some parental advise

    Thought I would run this by you guys and see what you would do. I have a 10 year old daughter turning 11 in a few days. She is a good kid does well in school and behaves. She is a little moody but I guess that is to be expected. Anyway I am looking for ways to teach her some responsibility. She needs help in this area. I have always said I thought kids having cell phones were stupid and would never happen. She is spending time away from home some and getting ready to start middle school so I thought I would buy her a prepaid phone with the understanding that each month she has to earn the money to keep it going. If not then obviously it does not work. Is this crazy or a bad idea.
