New Lures

    Guys, I have been fishing since the mid 1950's and have seen decades of lures and variations. I see folks spending $12-35 for a bait that works similar to a $2-5 lure. There are very, very few new baits in fishing. A lot of "new" lures were used years ago and fell out of favor. Remember the old saying that " 95% of new baits are designed to catch anglers; not so much bass". I see folks here paying big bucks for premium baits and just flat out don't understand it. In this economy, I am saving my money for fishing gear I know that works.
