    Just Piddling .

    Heard something that sounded like a shotgun going off this morning and it didn't take long to figure out what it was. My Mitsubishi DLP tv bulb blew (shattered). So I dug out the extended warranty paperwork (I never get the ex warranty, but bulbs are $150-200), called the number, they sent me to a service center who said they had to come out and deliver the bulb, but it would be 3 days :shocked:.

    I went to breakfast and the service center called and said that it was still under factory warranty and I would have to deal with Mitsu direct. :doh:. Called Mitsu, gave all the information, was sent to parts and was told it would be 3 days after they received a copy of my receipt.

    So after faxing the receipt and paying $20 overnight shipping, I should have the big screen going again tomorrow evening.

    This is not a rant, I'm still glad I went with DLP. I knew the bulb would be an issue, but it has by far a better 65" picture than a LCD. Once the price comes down a little, I might have to get me a spare.
