Oh Man!

    I just returned from a 7 mile run with my house guest. The cruisers are out and the waves are up. A 70-80 ft. yaght makes a 6-8 ft. wave--multiplied my many yaghts. At times we were riding in the bottom of the wave trough with the wave tops 4 ft. above our heads on either side. My guest was scared sh--less. This old guy is hurting and glad the boat is on the lift. Time for an early gin and tonic. We were catching bass about a mile back in a cove and I didn't hear the cruisers come out to play. I know better than to go far on a holiday and I am an idiot. Y'all be safe out there.
