Some of you folks think my prior career is BS. Some think the tennis, etc. is BS. So, let's do it now and be done with it. I could do three things better then most people. Tennis, tactical shooting and making things explode. I grew up poor and rich businessmen recognized that I had talent and made sure I recieved good training. I was taught by Earl Buchholz Sr., the best US teaching pro at that time. I later worked as an assistant to him. I played in college and some in the service. I played in national tournaments on my vacation time until I was 45 yrs. old. I met my wife on the tennis court during a lesson. I hit balls a few weeks ago for the first time in 5 years. I can still hit it but I play like a tree. My roots are in the ground and I don't go anywhere. Injuries have taken the game away from me.
The tactical shooting is because I again had some of the finest handgun instructors around. Not only instructors but real gunslingers who did it for real. I'm good because I realized I had to be to get ahead and survive. Thousands and thousands of rounds sent down range over more than 30 years. You get pretty good if you do that. Making things go boom was something I was taught in the service and used in Nam. If you don't believe this--tough!

The work part: when I graduated from college I was contacted by a federal agency. They didn't care that I had a degree; only that I could make things explode. I worked as a contractor to that agency for 2.5 years. I was offered a position with that agency but wanted to get out of that business. I taught school for a couple of years but there wasn't any money in it. Another agency offered a positon and I accepted. I continued to go to school on the gov't dime and worked for an agency that uses "sky spies". Now, to get to the upper ranks of federal gov't you must move and be promoted in other agencies. I worked in 4 intel agencies. As I've said before: I was one of the few to work in all the intel careers. This makes you a valuable person. I finished my career as a global manager. If you are in the IC or Homeland Security, you know what that means. Thirty plus years of gaining knowledge and seeing the behind the scenes taking place.

I spent 30+ years being quiet and in the background. I was a wallflower at parties and glared at people just so they wouldn't ask questions. I had to lie to close friends about what I was doing. Thirty years of this is a long time.

I decided to open up about myself more so people could see me for myself. This is the ONLY place I have done this. You don't see me in the lounge at other sites. Only the fishing part. I was told that I could talk about what I did up to a point. I was also told "no one is going to believe you". How true that statement is. Even very close friends disappeared. When your best friends don't believe you, it hurts like heck. Looking back, I should have stayed in the shadows but wanted to be in the light. My bad! If I could do it over, you would know nothing about me. Lesson learned!! Now, you can accept what I've told you or I can move on--your decision. Whatever I do or wherever I go, I'm talking fishing. Anything else and I'm mute. My integrity means a lot to me so excuse me if I get pissed when someone says they don't respect me, personally.
