Reflections from the day

Got out into the backyard for a few hours this mornin and got:fish2::fish2: Then I started thinking about things like wind direction, water temp ( 68 ) the differant vegetation down here as opposed to up north. I love maidencaine, elephant ear and bull rush. Thought of how a zoom horny toad goes through the giant pads and grass effortlessly and up north it always got hung up on a pad, skinny as they are:thinking:Took in the wildlife from the gators, to the coots, to the great herrons and birds that I've forgotten the names of. I wondered what y'all had in your areas? The sad memories were of my old fishin buddy George who's no longer with us , as are Rich and the Master Chief Florida Ed, you guys are so missed !True friends are hard to come by.But, it was great to be out alone but yet not alone. Maybe this is how old folks fish:thinking:Then I came home and did almost 5 hours of various yard work.So now I walk like Fred G. Sanford again:Rolling:
