Religious question

Ok first I don't want to offend anyone in any way and you don't have to respond but I was wondering how some of you felt about this. I live in the bible belt and it seems there is a church on almost every corner. My questions is how do you guys feel about churches and sizes of them. Here is why I ask. I have a local church here that started up a few years ago. Seems they have expanded very very fast in fact they have bought up several large buildings including a old car dealer ship and turned them into large churches. Is this really neccesarry. Do churches really need multiple locations. Do they really need all these large exotic buildings. Does a church really need thousands and thousands of square feet. Couldn't all this money go to help people in the community who are hurting or having trouble. I realize the bible says give money to the church etc I just don't see the need for all this. In a 4 mile radius of me I have 13 churches that I can count
