Rod Balance and Arm Fatigue

I've read where several people here feel their fishing rods are too heavy. The trick to making a fishing rod and reel feel light in your hand is balancing them to your hand. Particularly on spinning reels, where you place your hand around the reel dictates how heavy it feels and how tired your arm gets. After you have decided where your hand placement is going to be on the rod, you can use stick on weights towards the butt end of the rod or use removable butt caps. I buy removable butt caps for all my rods, both spinning and baitcasting. I insert different size coins into the cap until the rod feels light and balanced in my hand. If you do this with all your rods, your arm won't be as fatigued at the end of the day. :Cool_thumbs_up:
