Sad day in LA

    We laid one of our brothers to rest today.

    The story misses so much about who Buddy Poche was. A husband, father, mentor to some, and friend to many. The church was standing room only with people packed in every nook and cranny. Friends from as far away as Virginia who had never met Buddy but only spoke to him on the phone or online made the trip to honor him. He was always quick with a smile and a prank. He will surely be missed.

    And for the record, I too, had never met Buddy. Only talking through IM's and posts on a couple boards. But you could still tell he was a man who loved life and lived for his family and friends.

    Save a place in hawg Heaven for us, Buddy. Hopefully we'll meet up there.
