Speaking of Census

Is there something I missed? I drove through Cameron Parish yesterday. This is the part of LA that got hammered for Hurricanes Ike and Rita. They're coming back pretty good, though. So I stop at this little grocery store to get something to drink. When I'm leaving, I see this sign that says "WE SUPPORT THE CENSUS". This seemed kind of odd to me. Is there a census rebellion that I'm not aware of, or is this just the parish wanting to make sure they get their share of government funding?
