St. Louis Boat Show vs, Collinsville,Il Show

The St. Louis show is the biggest in the area but it has little in the way of fishing gear. It is designed for yaghts and performance boats though many bass boat dealers are there. The Let's Go Fishing! show is in Collinsville, Il. It is about 10 miles from St,. Louis in the Gateway Convention Center. This is a fishing only show with lots of bass boat dealers and sometomes a hundred or more fishing gear vendors. Lots of good deals on overstocks, rods, reels and boats. There are also numerous pros giving demos and shows on fishing. The price is about $7 and THE PARKING IS FREE. The show will be 6-8 Jan 2012.

I never go to the St. Louis show anymore because of high ticket price, parking fees, and little fishing stuff.
