Stay at home Dad's and re entering the work force

    The last 11 years I have been a stay at home Dad and now the time has come for me to go back to work. I am working at starting a lawn care business and also looking at going back to work full time. What's the best way to let employers about your 11 year lay off.I have been filling out apps and it sure looks odd with that big gap. I have been writing a short note about why i wasn't working the last 11 years. Any other ideas? I don't think stay at home dad works on a resume to well.This was all done as part of my wife and I's plan. This way I could help her as she got her practice up and going ( She's a DC) and take care of the kids.
