Suggestions for photos from camera to computer to email

    New here from BFHP. I had been using Picasa to store my photos from my camera,and then when needed, 'load' them on an email and send. Google bought Picasa, and now that system, will not let me email my photos. I'm looking for a free 'system' that will let me do what Picasa did. I'm not really interested in doing a lot of modifications to the photos, just being able to email them is fine. Any help appreciated...BF
