Support and Pride

I know the recent election has many outright angry. Others are fine with it. Whatever. I just want to take a moment to say that regardless of what I voted, whoever was/is elected in MY President. You may claim a faulty system, but it is OUR system. I will be the first to admit that I am not nearly as educated on politics as many of you or as educated as I should be. But I was raised in a country that I believe is THE BEST country in the world not because of the who is elected president, but because of the so many great people that live here and make up this country. Imagine if there were forums such as this during the Great Depression and what would have been posted. I believe the country will turn around and get out of our funk. I BELIEVE that. You have the choice to do the same or not. But that is what I believe. History shows that with a market economy, as we favor, what is down will come up. Times are tough, but not too tough to love my family. Not too tough, to pray at night. not too tough to go to church on Sunday. not too tough to raise my kids to show respect and proper manners. not too tough to not be there for those in need. Regardless of your political view, we are blessed. We should be thankful for those things we have rather than what we don't have or what we are "worried about may happen". Too many of us want to guess and worry about what we THINK will happen when in reality, we don't know crap. Live today, for you. I will respect and support MY President and government and pray that the Lord be with them to guide them to make the best decisions that are best for all of us.

The sun will come up each and every day and we can choose how we want that day to go. Nobody else can decide that for us.
