Taneycomo Trip

From the responses i got when i asked about Taneycomo, it was clear that most of you don't trouth fish. Believe me i love to bass fish and that is the reason why i joined the forum to learn more and more about it every time i get on here so i can become a better fisherman. After the trip we made wit me and 6 other guys in a four days fishing morning, some afternoon till they would generate and then again after they generated till midnight sometimes 1 am and we eclipsed the 300 trout mark for the week. I am not very good with the fly rod what so ever but am slowly learning more and more.
One of the funnest things i have ever experienced fishing though i would have to say came in the back to back nights of wading in the lake(which i think looks like a river) and fish in a way they call stripping. I really enjoyed this method of trout fishing with the fly rod because it in some ways reminded me of bass fishing. Throwing it down the current and stripping line back to you waiting for the feeling of a slight tug from the trout letting you know he has it....I loved this type of trout fishing because it gave you an element of surprise every time and it at times felt like a bass hitting a crank bait or spinning bait with out the vibration. So if you guys ever get the chance or in my case asked to go trout fishing i highly recommend Lake Taneycomo because the fishing was excellent and i got to see several big rainbows over 20 inches and a few close to 24. I also got to see two browns over 20 inches as well and catching them on a 2lb leader is a task in current and a lot of fun. :rock_on:
