The Greatest Generation

    As today is Dec 7th, let's not forget those who were part of the greatest generation. Like I said in the thread yesterday, almost all of their lives changed on that day and they adapted, overcome and showed what America was all about. Most doing so without requesting praise or awards, it was just what had to be done. My Grandmother tells stories of her family moving to the coast to work in the shipyards and having blackouts because of patroling U-Boats. The remaining members of that generation are getting fewer all the time. I wonder what today's generations wold do under the same circumstance
