This weekend on KY Lake.

One of my best friends in the world came over this weekend to watch the game and do some fishing.
Firday night fishing SUCKED! Winds blowing 10-15 from the NNE with a front moving through and damn it sucked.
We went out for breakfast saturday morning and watched Collage game day to see who Corso picks in the UT vs UF game. Again he picked wrong. :Rolling:

Anyway. We headed out sunday morning and hit the main lake grass mats, ABout the 3cast I caught a solid 3-3 1/2pnd LM and a few more smaller but keeper sized fish in the 2-3 pnd range. Randy had a HUGE fish blow up on a black buzzbait but failed to hook up. The fish was huge! The picture alone would have weighed 6pnds.:doh: We moved around the scattered grass and the mat and caught 15-16pnds for our best 5 and noticed a few boat moving in around us fishing the "Bend rod Pattern" Sorry bassturds!!
We headed back to a spot in the back of one of the creeks in 3-5ft of water and started catching them again, nothing big but good soild tournament keeper fish in the 2-3pnd range. I lost one fish right at the boat that would have been a easy 5+ pnds but oh well.

The grass in the backs of the creeks has begun to die and thin out a bit but the fish are still there. We caught fish on Buzzbaits, Spinner baits, Worms/plastics, and Jigs in 3-8ft of water.:dancing_banana: :dancing_banana: :dancing_banana:
