TM shaft

    Just Piddling .

    Has anyone replaced the shaft on a Motor Guide Tour. I think that is what stressed the cable so much. The shaft is slightly bowed and is hard to steer at higher speeds. We have an old TM, that I started to disassemble a couple months ago, but it looked like a job to remove the shaft (at least to where it would be reusable :tooth:)

    I'm going to call Fisherman's Friend for a quote, but wondered if this could be a DIY project
