Tonight....

Is the night of our annual Christmas Party. We've done it as a group since we graduated from High School. This is my first time hosting it. We're expecting close to 30 people in our house tonight. No kids.... Just us grownups. We have a turkey and a ham cooking and everyone is assigned what dish to bring. In years past, the party usually ended in a fight, property damage, etc. One thing is a certainty: Someone will puke. Now that we're older and more mature, participation has dwindled and the events have become more sedate. Now that most of us are married, have houses, kids etc, no one can afford to get arrested anymore. The girls figured out to push all the important stuff into the first hour before the boys got drunk and ruined everything. At some point in the evening, the boys will migrate downstairs to discuss how much cooler we used to be and the girls will stay upstairs discussing the idiots they married.
Neither Beth or I drink, but I'll usually go along with whatever the mob comes up with. Beth doesn't like most of the girls, and thinks they're stuck up b****'s. Bad feelings from High School I guess. Should be a fun night! :Cool_thumbs_up:
