Tunnel Hull Bass Boats

    Looking at the wide deck on Mike's Fast Cat, I thought the reflection on the hull might be hydrofoils. It got me thinking about an older hull used on bass boats in the 1970- 1990 time frame. Tunnel hulls, which are racing hulls, were used by several makers. I remember being in a tunnel hull and wondering if I were flying or about to go airborne. I think it was a Hydrostream boat. The design was scary at high speed. Anyone else remember the tunnel hull and what makers built them? Most of the makers are out of business.
