    I was in John Cochran's VA hospital in 1971 where I was given an experimental drug for mononucleosis. I was never told it was an experimental drug and it hurt many test subjects. I entered the hospital having passed out from fever and with a spleen so swollen it was ready to burst. I was in the middle of the college tennis season. I entered on a Monday and recieved the drug. I played a college tennis match the following Saturday, so the drug worked for me. Now, there is no record of this happenning and no record of my ever using the VA. I found out about the drug in a CBS 60 Minutes report in about 1982-83. I told this story when I was getting my military records fixed yesterday. I would be eligible for disability if I can prove it happenned. I'm wracking my brain trying to come up with anywhere else the information may have been stored. The neurological problems my body is going through now are the problems people had in the 1980's CBS report. Not agent orange but an f***** up VA behind it. You folks have been helpful. If you know of any place the VA may have stored this data, let me know.
    I was also told that by the time this was filed, adjudicated and approved, the process could take several years. I get the feeling that the VA would rather I just disappear down a hole somewhere.
