Lake show-me was on Fire tonight! :head_on_wall: I was so excited, I for got the Tourney badge, my Measuring Tape, But most of my Camera! :head_on_wall: We had about 6+ inches of rain over the past 4 days, with more to come! First 10 were dinks. All caught on a 3/8oz jig. Pumpkin/green/orange- with a Strike Kings Ragin Pumpkin Craw. So I switched to my 3/8oz SUNRISE spinnerbait w/hot orange twister tail -Orange blades. Water was stained to clearing, that's why I went for a bright bait! We we fishing in dead Lilly pad stalks and pumping the stalks must of did the trick! Cause WHAM, Fish one and drawing out drag! She was 5.4lbs with NO EGGS! And the next few that I caught...4.9lbs, 5.3lbs, All on the same spinnerbait and all, had laid their eggs. These were solid hits! guys! It was sunset, so I switch to a black/red spinnerbait with a tandem black deep cup blades. I added a hot orange twister tail for luck! She was really thumping and I brought the bait of to make the blades gurgle, WHAM! I about lost my rod to a 4.3lb bass. After spawn, these bass were so aggressive! Brian, hooked on a big one...on a Hula Popper! She busted out of the water and crashed the plug! :censored: I wished I had that one video! She was ever bit 9-10-12+lbs fish! He still use a spincast reel on a St. Croix Premier casting rod_that's a $115 dollar rod, and I shutter every time I see that Zebco classic 33 attached to it! But he was catching some too! He had to push the line release button, cause the drag wasn't letting out the line fast enough! She came out of the water and down on loose line...SNAP! 17lbs test line will brake on loose line! AS we were bringing in the boat, I made one long cast to the Lilly stalks. I thought I snagged on a a stalk, until the line cut through the water. Drawing out drag, tail walking in the sunset! She wrapped around a stalk and had to go get her! I knew she was big, but when I could see her in the light...oh yeah baby 7.8lbs! Not the monster Brain had, but she was fun fight non the less! I get mad at him cause he took home to clean a 4+ and a 6.8lb to eat! I told him that bass that size have no flavor! Cryin shame is what that is!

Now this is a lesson to be learn here gang! When you go fishing, take your camera, be sure the batteries work! Have measuring board and your OUTKAST ONLINE TOURNEY BADGE with you! I could have just took an early lead if I just took a couple of minute to grabbed the items I needed!
