What A Day

    Considering I have not picked up a rod and reel for almost 4 months. We had a freaking UNREAL DAY. Guess we caught close to 50 Bass today. I caught 35 or 40 and the guy I guided caught 10 or 12. Pulled up on my first spot this morning and before I left. Had 15 pounds in the boat. Went to my 2nd spot and we stayed there for over 4 hours catching fish. Best 10 today weighed some where between 35 and 40 pounds. No really big fish but a bunch of 3 ot 5 pound ones. Caught 1 smallie about 3 pounds and the rest large mouths. Caught almost all of them on jerk baits and jigs. Guy I took had never caught fish like that and told me it was one of the best fishing trips he had ever been on.
