What a smuck!

    NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. -- A Nebraska City man faces animal-cruelty charges after police say he strangled two of his family's cats.

    Nebraska City police captain Lonnie Neeman said that 47-year-old Eric Inman's wife and children left their house following a July 22 argument. So, Neeman said, he called her and said she needed to come home or he'd kill a third cat.

    Neeman said officers found two cats buried in the yard. A vet examined them and determined the cause of death was strangulation.

    Neeman said Inman told officers the cats were old and sickly and would soon need to be euthanized.
