whats up with these fish

okay first off was talking to a guy at the ramp and he said he has been fishing the coosa for over 30 years and never seen it this tough to catch fish as it has been this year....catching alot of small one no njce ones...had a guy fishing in the cove at the marina yesturday and caught 3 decent bass and he said the tails were all bloody like they was on bed......a freind of mind who fishes and keeps them to eat caught 5 last week and he said there tails was also bloody and when he cleaned them they all had eggs in them and he said they were big eggs also so whats this telling yea are the fish screwed up and going back on bed did some never go on and going on now or is there some thing else going on......:thinking:
