Whopper Plopper?

Anyone try this lure? My son fished the college tournament stuff and always had one tied on. He said he could get some big bass on it at times.

Well, my friend and I had a Tuesday night tournament this week and I tied a brand new WP on that I had gotten for Father's Day.

The explosion of water could be easily seen and heard in the darkness on the lake. My friend could only say "holy sh!t!!" Then he asked me if I was hooked up. Looking through the glow of the console mounted HDS8, I could see my rod bowed over almost in half. Working the giant to the boat, James was getting the net ready.

Flashlight on, fished netted...9 lbs of brute force AKA.... Catfish!!! On top water. Our hopes and dreams for a second consecutive Tuesday night victory crushed...

Top that grasshoppers!

But it does catch big fish! Lol
