Would you feel ripped off?

    The state of CT this past October doubled all fishing and hunting license fees, freshwater went from $20 to $40, etc. Now this past week the state has recended that and dropped all the license fees down, so now fresh water is $28. There are alot of folks now b*tching about the fact that they paid the $40 and not getting refunds for what they paid.

    This is my thought on the issue, if I were to buy something at a retail store and even months later the store dropped the price by X%, the store would not refund me the difference, so why should the state do the same? The state never once said that the fee was a temporary increase to the $40, it was intended to be permanent fee, but enough folks b*tched and got it lowered, now they feel entitled to a refund.
