Yesterday at Academy, Im working on the hardbaits, doing the reset and all. We are really changing things up. For instance, on plastics, we carried a 4ft section of Yamamoto Senkos. Now, 1 column. had a 4ft section of Ribbits, down to 1 column. Yum went from 4ft of plastics to a myriad of Money Minnows, Yumbrellas, and a few new items, but nothing like it was. Bandit cranks...carried 100, 200, 300s...now, 1 column of 100 and 200. Xcalibur...carried the 100, 200, 300 and Silent 200, XR50 and XR50 Knockers, and XR75s, now...3 columns of XR 50, 100, 200s, thats it. And it is getting like that all thru the dept. Except for Power Bait, Big Bite, H20, Zoom, and nexpanded a little of the Strike King cranks and Red Eyes.

A-N-Y-Way.....Im looking at all of these funky colors and patterns. Especially the Heddon stuff. Lucky 13 in Baby Bass/Red Eye. Zara Spooks in Silver Chrome with black dots on it. Torpedo's in Gold Bass, Clear, and Bullfrog. Point is this...Everm wonder why they keep makig these baits? Do they still actually work and catch fish?? I'm sure they do, but in a world where there are numerous new colors and patterns coming out, why would we have to have these new colors of the old stuff keeps caching fish?
