Your vote doesn't matter

You can blame Obama, the unions, the Democrats, the Republicans, the Tea Party, blame anyone you want to because it won't make any difference in the end. Elections in the US are determined by campaign money. Who is the best candidate doesn't matter because who has the most advertising money and can sling the most mud at their opponent, will win. With the change made in campaign financing by the decision of the Supreme Court, large donors from any party can donate whatever funds they want. Elections will be determined by who has the most money to spend. No donors are altruistic. They will want something from the winner in return for their funding. So, campaign funding is now about large donors suppling funds in return for something they want. The power of your vote has been reduced because the best person may not run. After the election, why should the elected candidate do something for the people when they owe so much to their backers.
