Its been a crappy past few days.

All this starts Thursday morning when I wake up with a temp of 103.7 and all my skin looks and feels like it has first degree burns on it. The wife talks me into going to the ER. She takes me to Springfield/Northcrest and sign in. They take one look at me and take me straight back to a room. All the normal is done IV’s EKG, Blood draw, X rays. Fast forward 1 ½ hours. Blood work comes back and temp is still up in the high 102’s, ER Doctor comes in a wants to transfer me to Vanderbuilt (Vandy) for more tests.

They wont allow me to transfer myself I must be transported by ambulance. Well I finally get over to Vandy and the whole process starts all over again. They get control of the fever but still cant figure out what is causing my skin to turn a burnt cherry color? My next 2days is spent sitting/laying/ sleeping and going stir crazy in a “Observation unit” having blood drawn every 2hours Cat scans and a total of 14 yes I said 14 different doctors coming in to look at me and wanting to run different tests.:head_on_wall::head_on_wall:

But now I’m home and still waiting for the results from the 2 biopsy’s they took of my skin. :thinking:
The fever is under control and the redness has gone down a bit but I still feel like “death on a stick” but at least I’m home.:dancing_banana:
I hope everyone had a better week end than I did.
