Old technique

Since we have had one thread, I'll start another. The technique is called a Jigger Pole. It was the first technique I learned as a kid. It consists of a long cane pole, about 10 ft of line, and a topwater bait. You would walk along the shore and drag the topwater back and forth along the shoreline. I caught lots of bass with it. Today, it is illegal in tournamennts. There was a lot of excitement in watching a large bass inhale the lure only a few feet from you.
